Our Executive Director
KWG started in the Fall season of 2023. As someone very passionate about advocating for my community, my husband, Coach Moy, and I decided to launch a soccer organization that would not only bring the sport of soccer to our community but also have coaches from the same area where we grew up and who could relate to our players. With that, I was able to find amazing partners: Coach Ulric, Coach Julius, & Coach Shaka. They are not only passionate about the sport of soccer but also proud residents of the Southside.
Since then, we have launched our soccer program in which we will not only be offering the sports side of soccer but also focusing on the social and emotional well-being of our families in our community. We aim to offer resources to our community that many did not know existed, as well as help our students thrive in academics. We are currently in three cities and are very excited about expanding our opportunities into other locations within the metro area. Our goal is to ensure that every child leaves with a positive impact in our program, whether it be on or off the soccer field.
I am very proud to say that we are one of the few soccer organizations in the state that is owned by black and brown entrepreneurs, leaders, and coaches in the same communities that we serve.
